Our Wonderful Team

At our nursery, we are proud to have a dedicated team of qualified and experienced practitioners who are passionate about providing high-quality care, learning and development for every child. We have a strong team of qualified staff, supported by those who are developing their skills and knowledge within the early years sector.

Mrs Nicola Nevinson -  Nursery Manager

I have been employed at Quarry Brow since March 2006. My role is to continually develop the care and quality of the services that the nursery provide to ensure the children receive the highest standard of education and care. I ensure that staff are given the opportunity to develop in  their knowledge and experience through further training - this ensures that the children are giving broad experiences whilst within their care.

Mrs Demi Wilson - Deputy Manager

I trained and qualified back in 2012 and I am currently working towards my Level 5, alongside having three children of my own at home; I have lots of experience both as a practitioner and also as a parent on the other side- as all of my own children attended Quarry Brow Nursery 🙂.

As deputy; I work closely with our manager Nicola and our wonderful team to ensure the highest standard of care every single day.

I know how important it is to hand over your whole world and choose the right environment for your little one.

Miss Chloe Nevinson-Deputy Manager

As Deputy Manager, I play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our nursery, helping to ensure that both children and families feel happy, safe and welcomed.Alongside supporting our wonderful team and helping to create a positive nursery environment,I take great pride in maintaining our nursery environment, ensuring that our building, facilities and resources are well cared for, safe and inviting for everyone who walks through our doors.

Apprenticeships

We are delighted to offer apprenticeship opportunities for individuals who are passionate about working with children and beginning their career in early years. Our apprentices gain valuable hands-on experience, develop their knowledge of child development and learn a wide range of practical skills while being supported by our experienced team.

Work Experience

We also welcome work experience students from local schools, giving them the opportunity to discover what it’s like to work in a nursery. Through spending time with our team, students can gain valuable insight into early years education, build confidence and develop an understanding of the rewarding world of childcare.
