Quarry Brow Day Nursery - Other Information

Belongings

We ask parents to bring a bag with nappies, wipes and a change of clothing. We do have limited space to bring supplies to remain at nursery - we will inform you when we need more. When your child is ready to toilet train we are more than happy to work with you and support this.

Please provide suitable clothing for the weather - or provide alternates in your child's bag. We also ask that parents label all clothing/belongings to avoid things getting mixed up.

Medicines can be brought for medical conditions that require them.

Health Needs

When starting at Quarry Brow we discuss health needs and put in plans needed for each individual. If your child needs any medication long term, you will be asked to complete a health care plan, this is so staff are fully aware of your child's needs and requirements.

We fully support any child's additional needs or disability and will put what is required in place to assist and support the child's learning and development.

Nicola has a high level of experience in this field and has good strong links with many external agencies.

Collection Of Children

We have a pin coded security door, so unauthorised access cannot be gained. We also request to be introduced to people who will be responsible for collecting your child.

If a person arrives that we do not know, we will turn them away without your authorisation, this policy set by the nursery and is for the safety and protection of your child.
