Caring for the individual needs of our children

Quarry Brow's baby room is a wonderfully lit room which has several displays on our wall of children's work and photographs. The room has a soft play section with a ball pool, which is good for the children to enable them to climb, balance and explore safely. We adapt the room to suit the needs of our children.

The children are also able to play at tables where they can enjoy painting, baking, sensory play and even puzzles. There is also plenty of floor space for exploring the environment and having fun with the activity toys and each other. It is important for children of a young age to develop and learn socially as some may not be familiar with other children, whilst also developing their motor skills.

The babies are in nursery for care some are more affectionate than others and need a cuddle to get them to sleep, if that is the case that's what we  will do. Some prefer to watch others and join in when they feel ready. We will allow the children to be themselves, and encourage them to join others when they are ready.
