Mrs Nicola Nevinson - 

Nursery Manager. Nicola has been employed at Quarry Brow since March 2006. Nicola's role is to continually develop the care and quality of the services that the nursery provide to ensure the children receive the highest standard of education and care. 

Nicola ensures that staff are given the opportunity to develop in  their knowledge and experience through further training - this ensures that the children are giving broad experiences whilst within their care.

Mrs Sian Forrester  –

"I am the deputy manager – so I support Nicola however she needs, completing observations, supporting staff training and development etc.  in her absence I am available for staff and parents.

My other role is running the pre-school classroom. I support the children in my group to get them ‘school ready’. To the children I am Miss Sian, mum, dad nana and grandad or whatever else they want to call me on the day😂, I wipe noses and bottoms, cuddle them when they need it and wipe away tears, I help them be their happiest selves and be the best they can be…

I am currently working on my NCFE Cache Level 5 Diploma for the Early Years Senior Practitioner "

Other Staff- We have more qualified staff than trainees currently. 

-Apprentice - We offer apprenticeships for people to train in child development and work with children, learning different skills along the way. 

-Work Experience - we also offer work experience placements to schools in the surrounding area.
